This multilayered, sculptural piece with its subtle upward curvature was inspired by the grand palaces of China. Each layer appears to float over the underlying layers - a design feat which took three months to create and refine.
The top layer cushions a 6.75 ct. Green Tourmaline of the highest quality from the famed Morro Redondo Mine in Brazil. One can peer directly through the verdant green of this large tourmaline. The next layer holds 12 ethically sourced diamonds the total weight of which is .50 carats (G-SI1 quality).
The final layer has thirteen burnished set Green Tourmalines in various complementary shapes and shades of green. These are also from the Morro Redondo Mine and weigh approximately 2.6 carats. The Necklace is made in 18K yellow gold and was handcrafted in Manhattan. Truly a one-of-a-kind piece. Matching earrings are also available.
